Why this virtual world is so amazing to me, i do not know why, but i must say it is so addicting! If you do have the ps3 and you get bored or just want to waste some time you can jump on and meet thousands of different people. whether its watching movie trailers at the in game cinema or shopping for houses, furniture or clothing for your avatar you’ll always have something to do. Back to the future Part 1 of 5 (Ps3)

This is one of the best games i think so far. Its not a fps or an action game, its more of an adventure platform based game. this game takes place three months after the event from the last film. as you start off to a familiar scene the game progresses slowly but surely grabs you into the unknown storyline of this instalment of the back to the future series. the game itself is 15 quid and is a five part game that is released monthly and i dont want to give to much away but part one takes you to 1931 as you’re trying to save Doc from his pending fate! after completing the story of part one they give you a preview into part 2 and i must say it is hopefully going to be even better than part one.

HomeFront review

i have just completed Homefront for the PS3. This FPS (first person shooter) takes place in post Korean occupied USA. As you start the game a news briefing hits the screen and explains what has happened in past years leading to the takeover  as this continues also giving you a sense of what life is like in the game. you start off in your room listening to the “voice of freedom” as children and adults are screaming through a Korean announcement. as you walk over to your door Korean soldiers break in and hit you with your gun and kicking you down the stairs. though this game is a 15 it really should have been made into an 18 as some bit are disturbing. I very much enjoyed the campaign mode of the game however there were just a few draw backs such as, the length of the game is somewhat short and lets you down and leaves you hanging. The feel of the whole game was realistic and kind of gave it an OH SHIT THIS COULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN!!!! feeling. the Plot line as a whole is awesome though you do wish they would give you a lot more missions in the campaign. Now the weapons of the game are slightly futuristic mixed with modern ranging from assault rifles to remote controlled vehicle’s with target locking missile launchers, of which are complimented by the phys x graphic engine and the unreal engine, which makes head shots and explosions enjoyable.

MULTI PLAYER 

this consist of three game modes ground-war , team death match and skirmish. Ground-war is a 32 player game mode (16 v. 16)in which you have to capture points on the map marked A,B and C team that collects the most points by obtaining the objectives. team death match is a 24 player game mode  (12 v. 12) straight forward kill the other team  get the most points to win. Skirmish tend to swap between the two as this is only an 8 v. 8 (16) player game mode. in game you receive points to unlock various items such as perks, helicopters, and weapons.

over all i give this game a 7.5/10
